Close House Villa is situated within a few minutes’ walk from the village square where there are number of restaurants and bars. Built in a traditional Mallorcan stone, the villa has been totally refurbished to a very high standard and offers 4 double bedrooms, large living/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The infinity pool looks out to the wonderful views of the mountains and valley with a tiled terrace area and outdoor furniture.
The Close House villa is a traditional Mallorca property, built over 3 floors in an elevated position in beautiful village of Fornalutx.
On arrival you enter from the main drive, walk down a few steps to main the entrance of the property. This level is the ground floor and offers a spacious lounge, kitchen diner which leads seamlessly to the pool area, with an infinity pool and terrace with seating and spectacular views across the valley.
All of the bedrooms are beautifully furnished. The master bedroom includes en-suite facilities, while bedrooms 2 and 3 are serviced with by a separate shared bathroom and wc. The master bedroom and bedrooms 2 and 3 are located on level 1 of the property. The lower ground level offers one further bedroom (bedroom 4) with en suite facilities, and it’s own terrace. Access to this area is down a short path and steps to exterior of the property. This level could be used a separate apartment.

The newly restored and refurbished Close House Villa sits on a hillside in idyllic village of Fornalutx and has breathtaking mountain views, yet is just a few minutes walk from the village square and its restaurants and bars. The villa is built in traditional Mallorcan stone and has been restored inside and out to provide luxury accommodation. Inside it is spacious, light and airy, and out side it features a covered terrace with a barbecue and dining table with chairs, private infinity pool and luxury sun loungers.
The pretty Port de Soller, its two beaches, restaurants and bars are just a ten minutes drive away, and the beautiful coves at Deia and Valledmossa are both within a 30 minutes drive of the villa. There are also a number of golf courses within a one-hour drive which the Close House team can provide a golf course booking and a chauffeuring service for.
Fornalutx is recognised as the prettiest village on the island. It sits in the midst of the Sierra de Tramuntana within the Soller valley, surrounded by olive groves and lemon and orange orchards. Its origins date to the Middle Ages and the village is Moorish in style with cobbed street and steps. There are numerous restaurants and tapas bars and sitting in the square among the locals, a glass of wine in hand is the epitome of relaxation.
If you’re lucky you may catch one of the many village fiestas. The Fornaluxians love to party and they start of by welcoming in the New Year with dancing in the village square. The Ceremony of the Tree Kings follows on January 5th, followed later by the feast of San Antonia. The annual week-long village fiesta is in early September.
Fornalutx is a beautiful village and an excellent point from which to explore the rest of the island. There are more beaches and bars to enjoy in nearby Soller, where you can also hire a boat or water ski, and the Close House team can book all your activities and restaurants in advance and lay on transport if you wish.
